The Department of Bachelor of Science in Nursing is one of the core departments within the College of Nursing, under the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in the State of Kuwait. The Bachelor of Nursing program commenced in February 2003, followed by the Bachelor of Nursing (Bridging Program) in September 2005. In September 2014, the School Nursing Program was launched to prepare highly competent male and female nurses specialized in school health care.
The vision of the Department of Bachelor of Nursing and its affiliated programs derives from the vision of the College of Nursing and PAAET, with a commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of society through excellence in nursing education, research, practice, and service. The mission of the Department is to prepare graduates capable of adapting to the ongoing challenges of change and development in nursing and healthcare in the State of Kuwait. The Department is committed to graduating qualified nursing professionals who deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to meet the diverse needs of clients, patients, and their families across various cultural backgrounds, both in the community and within healthcare institutions.
