The College of Nursing is one of the five colleges in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in Kuwait.
The College of Nursing (CoN) offers two main programs: The Bachelor degree in nursing and Associate degree in nursing. The Bachelor degree in nursing offers three options: 1) Generic nursing, 2) Post-Basic nursing, and 3) School Health Nursing. These nursing programs since its inception in 2003 has contributed significantly in meeting health care demands of the Kuwaiti society by preparing competent graduate nurses who are skilled in various areas of professional nursing.
The CoN is proud to announce that, in line with other colleges at the PAAET, it offers free education to students in Kuwait. The CoN houses faculty offices, classrooms, cafeteria, auditorium, administrative offices, library and students study areas, sport centers, student club and activity center and student skills lab. Faculty members at the CoN aim to encourage and expand students learning experiences beyond classroom and provide them with various opportunities to explore their passion into nursing.
The CoN through its continuous development is committed to providing qualified nursing education in line with the international nursing education standards. These efforts and contributions have enhanced the CoN to appear as the leading nursing school in Kuwait and the region for training nurses at degree level.
The CoN proudly continues to attract highly qualified academic and administrative staff from the various educational and healthcare services institutions in the country. The sustained efforts to improve the output of scholarly activities by individual faculty and through continuing professional development have seen the College make steady progress towards fulfilling its mission and objectives in line with the aspirations of the PAAET and the Kuwait.
The College of Nursing is considered the only college in the State of Kuwait, and even then, that offers nursing education programs. These programs are the associate degree in Nursing, bachelor of sciences in nursing, bachelor of sciences in school nursing, post basic nursing, and high diploma in critical care nursing specialization. The College of Nursing is committed to provide quality nursing education according to established standards in order to prepare professional nurses who are capable of providing quality nursing care innovatively and adapting to the challenges of the societal needs and the diverse changing health care system.
In order to ensure the quality and continuity of education, the College of Nursing is working to sustain the development of its curricula and educational methods, in addition to the use of modern technologies from e-learning systems, communication networks and electronic display devices.The launch of the new college's website comes to this direction in order to meet an effective communication between the college and its students and professors on one hand and the labor market and the regional and global colleges on the other hand.

Vision
To develop human resources in order to build the future of Kuwait by restructuring the applied education institutions and programs, developing them continuously, and designing a national system for Kuwaiti professionals. Therefore, the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training is always keen to develop its educational programs, keep pace with e-learning, and create new sectors that serve the educational process with the requirements of time.
Focusing on the basics of knowledge and relying on methods of self-education and facilitating the opportunities for educational development to individuals who seeks professional development and considering the practical aspects of training in institutes, centers, colleges and work and production sites, and that is a belief from the Public Authority for Applied Education and training on the importance of developing, building and cultivating talents, whether at the academic or societal level.
The vision and mission of the College of Nursing (CoN) are congruent with the vision and mission of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET). And this congruency in the vision and mission made the CoN to accomplish robust educational programs, service and research targeting the achievement of healthcare needs for the society of Kuwait.
