The Electrical Power Department is one of the most important scientific departments in the Higher Institute of Energy, where it specializes in preparing the training and qualification of technical staff of Kuwaiti youth to be able to work efficiently in various government sectors.  The department is keen to develop its programs continuously to keep up with the conditions of the labor market and meet its need of specialized technicians and train them in an advanced way. As part of the institute's new vision and through diversity in the service of the labor market, the department seeks to develop and provide programs for the private sector, including the oil company and local industrial companies.
