The Computer Department offers four training programs in the field of computer Science:
1- Detection and Ranging Devices
Job Title: Second Electronic/Devices Technician-
Job Grade at Appointment: General Fifth and Three Bonuses
After the completion of this training program, the trainee will be able to:
• Identify faults and maintain electrical and electronic circuits.
• Operate digital circuits and integrated circuits.
• Trace wireless signal and fiber optics transmission lines.
• Install antennas, operate radar systems, and familiarize with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
• Operate and test systems related to detection and monitoring devices Lidar, including other sensors such as ultra-sonic sensors and RFID and others.
2- Management of Electronics Production
Job Title: Second Electronic/devices Technician
Job Grade at Appointment: General fifth and three bonuses
After the completion of this training program, the trainee will be able to:
• Manage electronic operations in facilities, involving a basic understanding of programming PLC as well as LabView.
• Utilize various types of electronic sensors in facilities, understand how they work, and control them.
• Track the steps of energy transfer and its distribution lines ton residential and industrial units.
• Monitor faults and identify their locations in buildings, facilities, and stations that use centralized control units.
• Install and operate new electronic components or repair faults using electronic schematics.
Graduates of the Electric and Electronic Department may work in the government sector, such as The General Administration of Civil Aviation, The Ministry of Electricity, The Ministry of Information, and The Ministry of Interior. They may also be employed by the companies in the private sector which specialize in electronic technology as well as Communications.
