About the College

The College of Health Sciences (formerly known as Kuwait Institute for Health Sciences) was established in the academic year 1974/1975, initially began with the department of Health and Nutrition supervision; then in 1978 the Nursing department. In 1981, two new Departments were established: Food Science and Nutrition and Environment Health. The departments of Technical Assistant Pharmacy and Technical Assistant Medical Records were later established in 1985. Last In 1989, the department of Dentistry and Oral Health was established.

The goal of The College of Health Sciences is to qualify for the Diploma level graduates to work in the State of Kuwait in all of its institutions both government and private sectors.

  • Admissions are open twice a year, in September and January.

  • High School Academic Performance: Applicants must have completed high school with a focus on science major. A minimum high school score of 85% is required for eligibility.
