· Assisted teaching ISM301 Project Management for Information Systems for Master level students in Information Systems at University of Brighton School of Computing, Mathematical and Information Sciences.

· Introduced the subject of risk management in software development.

· Exercises were addressed in the module presented approaches for applying risk management in software development projects.

2008 Intro to Software Engineering Risk Management

·Intro to Software Engineering Risk Management at Public authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) IT Department.

·The course was aimed at professionals in the IT industry covering issues of failure software projects, approaches for performing risk management cycle, and relating this to actual case study.

· The aim of this course is to teach graduate senior student how to analyse, design and implement real life computer projects.

· The course of interviewing stakeholders of a selected project in the community.

·Evaluating national and international web sites through a pre defined evaluating criteria.

2009 Speaker at the Second Conference for E-Government Legislation, Kuwait.

· Representing the challenges facing the implementation of E-Government projects at the national level in Kuwait.

2009-2010 Participated in a number of TV, newspaper and radio interviews discussing subjects relating to IT.

2011-2013 Kuwait Information Technology Society board member.

· None profit government organization aims at improving the awareness of IT issues in Kuwait society.

Consultation 2008 Risk Management workshop.

· Designed and Conducted two Risk Management Workshop for the centralised team of Kuwait E-Gate national project at the Central Agency of Information Technology.

·The workshop was designed to aid participants identify risk in the undergoing project by using a pre developed diagrammatic causal model. The model introduce a visual analysis approach of risk.

·The two workshops presented a longitudinal case study designed in two parts. The aim of this approach is to be able to capture the perception of stakeholders in a project in two different time zone reflected by the system development life cycle (SDLC).

·Providing consultation for the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) IT Department in the acquiring of ERP system for higher education to support the student academic administration process.

· Consultation involves designing a selection document (pre qualification document) and producing RFP document.
