Courses offered by Ebn Alhaitham In-Service Training Centre to the State employees of government, semi-government and private sectors.

 

Candidates are registered in the Courses according to the following rules and the following documents are required:

• A recommendation letter from the employer.
• A letter from the employee willing to attend the course at his own expense.
• The nomination form signed by the employee.  The registration will not be accepted if the informed on the registration form is not true.
• CSC approval, if necessary.
• The documents should reach us no later than (15) days before the start of the course.

 

A candidate is accepted according to the following terms:-

A-     The candidate should apply in the scheduled courses.

B-    Receipt of completed documents of the nominee.

C-    Applicants should meet the pre-requisites.

 

The cost of the course is as following:

A-     Registration fees KD 50/-.

B-    Training expenditures KD 20/- per each training day (3 hours of training per day)

 

If an employer or a candidate intends to withdraw or amend the nomination it can be done by sending a request on an official letter not later than 7 days before starting of the course.  It should be taken into account that the amendment requested in the letter should be among the general rules of the conducting the courses, otherwise PAAET would not be able to meet the request.  The money will not be refunded in any case.

 

The courses are held in morning and evening sessions, each training day is consisting of three hours or more depending upon the nature of the course.  The trainee has to attend all the training sessions according to the time table, and the punctuality should not be less than 90% of the total number of hours.  Failure to do so, the trainee is not awarded with a certificate of completing the session and his workplace is informed in written.

 

Each course has a special method of evaluating the activities of trainees, and certificates are awarded to the trainees who have committed themselves to control the attendance and participated in their activities.

 

Those professors, teachers and trainers who are excellent, qualified and specialists practitioners in the field of each courses are selected from the PAAET faculty and training members and the other educational institutions

 

In addition to this plan include him on the date of a scheduled training sessions held throughout the year 2008/2009, the Training Center's training programs can be built again, specifying the date, place with the agreement of the student.
